Delphos International’s Director, Slav Gatchev, and Vice President, Andrew Brown, will join business leaders from across the world at this year’s annual CCA Summit. Mr. Brown will participate in a panel, Casting a Wider Net: Expanding Internet Access in Africa, which will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 10:45. The Corporate Council on Africa’s “U.S.-Africa Business Summit”, held every two years, is the premiere meeting that addresses the commercial ties between the U.S.

Andrew Brown, Vice President, will feature as a panelist in the session entitled “Casting a Wider Net: Expanding Internet Access in Africa” which will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. The Corporate Council on Africa’s “U.S.-Africa Business Summit”, held every two years, is the premiere meeting that addresses the commercial ties between the U.S. and Africa.  This year’s summit will focus on the key opportunities and challenges in agribusiness, energy, health, infrastructure, security, capacity building, ICT and finance to increase to increase trade and investment.

Delphos International recently joined the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) - a nonprofit, membership-based organization established in 1993 to promote business and investment between the United States and nations of Africa. As a CCA member, Delphos joins the ranks of over 180 companies that account for nearly 85 percent of total U.S. private sector investments throughout Africa. CCA works with member companies to help increase their investment in and trade with nations across the continent of Africa.

July 2013

Svetoslav Gatchev, Director, will join global bankers and financiers on a panel entitled “Financing Your Deal: Current Trends, Opportunities and Strategies”. Other conference speakers include Ebenezer Essoka, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank, and Hon. Davis Chirchir, Minister of Energy and Petroleum of Kenya.  The conference will take place at the Trump Soho Hotel in New York on September 26, 2013.

June 2013

Andrew Brown, Vice President, will join leaders of the Turkish diaspora alongside IFC and OPIC representatives to expound upon finance strategies for potential investors in the Turkish market. The panel, entitled “Tools for Investment: Government and Private Resources,” will focus on sharing lessons learned from past engagements, concentrating primarily on the avenues available to investors for mitigating risk in Turkey.
