Trade Finance named Latin America Export Finance Fund, Ltd.'s ("LAEFF") US$50,000,000 senior debt raise from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation a Deal of the Year for 2013. Delphos International acted as the sole financial advisor to LAEFF's manager, Crecera Finance Management Company, Ltd.

November 2013

Delphos International and Avinture Group, acting as co-financial advisors to CAL Bank, raised $20 million in unsecured, long-term debt financing from the OPEC Fund for International Development ("OFID") in support of CAL Bank's growing lending activity. The facility will help CAL Bank, a leading independent bank in Ghana, meet the burgeoning capital needs of its corporate and SME clients.

Delphos International’s Director, Slav Gatchev, and Vice President, Andrew Brown, will join business leaders from across the world at this year’s annual CCA Summit. Mr. Brown will participate in a panel, Casting a Wider Net: Expanding Internet Access in Africa, which will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 10:45. The Corporate Council on Africa’s “U.S.-Africa Business Summit”, held every two years, is the premiere meeting that addresses the commercial ties between the U.S.

Andrew Brown, Vice President, will feature as a panelist in the session entitled “Casting a Wider Net: Expanding Internet Access in Africa” which will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. The Corporate Council on Africa’s “U.S.-Africa Business Summit”, held every two years, is the premiere meeting that addresses the commercial ties between the U.S. and Africa.  This year’s summit will focus on the key opportunities and challenges in agribusiness, energy, health, infrastructure, security, capacity building, ICT and finance to increase to increase trade and investment.

Delphos International recently joined the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) - a nonprofit, membership-based organization established in 1993 to promote business and investment between the United States and nations of Africa. As a CCA member, Delphos joins the ranks of over 180 companies that account for nearly 85 percent of total U.S. private sector investments throughout Africa. CCA works with member companies to help increase their investment in and trade with nations across the continent of Africa.
